AFRIECOM – Shipping & Delivery Policy
At AFRIECOM, we aim to get your order to you as smoothly and quickly as possible. Please review the following shipping and delivery terms before placing your order.
1. Delivery Areas
– We deliver nationwide across Kenya.
– For remote or hard-to-reach areas, we may propose a pick-up point instead of home delivery.
– AFRIECOM reserves the right to refuse delivery to addresses considered high-risk or not serviced by our logistics partners.
2. Order Processing Time
– Orders are usually processed within 24 to 48 hours after payment confirmation or COD order verification.
– Cash on Delivery (COD) orders may require a confirmation call or WhatsApp message before dispatch.
3. Delivery Timeframes
– Once your order has been processed and dispatched, typical delivery times are 1 to 3 business days for most locations in Kenya.
– Delivery times may be longer for remote areas or under exceptional conditions (bad weather, traffic delays, or high demand).
4. Shipping Costs
– Delivery fees (if any) will be clearly shown at checkout or communicated during order verification.
– If a specific promotion or offer applies (e.g., free delivery above a certain amount), it will be indicated on our website.
5. Tracking & Updates
– You will be notified once your order is dispatched.
– Our logistics partners will send updates via SMS or WhatsApp to confirm delivery details.
– Please ensure your phone number and address are accurate so the courier can reach you easily.
6. Lost, Damaged or Non-Delivered Items
– If your package is lost, damaged, or not delivered, you must notify us within 48 hours of the delivery attempt or upon noticing the issue.
– You’ll be asked to provide any available proof (photos, videos, or courier messages).
– After verification, we will arrange a re-delivery, exchange, or store credit according to our Return & Refund Policy.
7. Customer Responsibilities
– Make sure the delivery address provided is correct and accessible.
– For COD orders, please be available at the agreed delivery time or make arrangements in advance.
– Repeated refusal of COD deliveries without valid reason may lead AFRIECOM to restrict or suspend your COD option for future orders.
8. Payment Methods
– We currently accept payments through M-PESA (Safaricom Kenya) and Cash on Delivery (COD).
– For prepaid orders, ensure your M-PESA transaction is confirmed before dispatch.
9. Policy Updates
– We may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice.
– The version in effect at the time of your order will apply.
